Suleiman Abdullahi Mourns Bamanga Tukur, Hails His Legacy

Former Niger State APC Youth Leader, Comrade Ambassador Suleiman Abdullahi, has expressed deep condolences to the government and people of Adamawa State over the death of elder statesman and Tafidan Adamawa, Dr. Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

Abdullahi, in a condolence message issued on behalf of himself and his family, described the deceased as a national icon, father figure and a voice of wisdom, courage and experience whose life was dedicated to the service of humanity and Nigeria.

He said the late Bamanga Tukur touched many generations through his contributions to national development, noting that his dignity, humility and uncommon statesmanship earned him the respect of Nigerians.

According to him, although the death of the elder statesman has silenced his physical voice, his legacy of service, wisdom and patriotism will continue to speak for him and inspire generations yet unborn.

“I personally mourn the loss of a great father and national icon. We shall remember him with profound respect and gratitude for the footprints he left on the sands of time,” Abdullahi said.

He urged the immediate family to take solace in the meaningful and impactful life lived by the deceased, as well as the enduring legacy he left behind.

Abdullahi prayed Almighty Allah to grant the family the strength, comfort and patience to bear the painful loss.

He also prayed Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds, illuminate and widen his grave and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

The former Niger State APC Youth Leader further prayed for wisdom for Adamawa State and Nigeria to preserve and build upon the values of service, unity and patriotism for which Bamanga Tukur stood.
