SOCIAL MEDIA: A TOOL FOR CAMPAIGN, NOT CRISIS

Social media has become a powerful platform for political engagement, especially among the youths of Niger State.
It should therefore be used responsibly to promote campaign messages, communicate policies, mobilise supporters and educate the public and not as an avenue for insults, character assassination and unnecessary political crises.

Our youths must understand that political differences are normal in a democracy, we can disagree without becoming enemies. Instead of abusing one another online, let’s focus on issues, ideas, achievements and programmes that can improve the lives of our people.

I appeal to all political youths in Niger State to embrace responsible digital engagement, respect opposing views and avoid spreading unverified information.

The future of our politics depends greatly on the quality of conversations we create today.

Let social media unite us, not divide us
Campaign on issues, not insults.
