POLITICS SHOULD NOT COST YOUR LIFE OR DIGNITY

My dear youths, remember that no politician is worth your life, your future, or your dignity. Politics is a temporary contest, but the consequences of our actions can last a lifetime.

As young people, we must learn to trade with caution and campaign responsibly. Let our campaigns be based on issues, ideas, achievements, policies and the vision of our candidates—not on insults, character assassination, fake news or defamatory statements.

We can disagree politically without becoming enemies. We can support our preferred candidates without destroying the reputation of others. Political loyalty should never mean blind loyalty.

I therefore urge our youths to use social media responsibly. Promote your candidate, defend their programmes with facts, and engage in constructive arguments. Avoid content that can create unnecessary conflict, hatred or legal consequences.

Politics will come and go, but your life, reputation, relationships and future remain with you.

Let us be youths who build bridges, promote peace and contribute positively to our society—not political thugs behind keyboards or on the streets.

Campaign on issues. Debate with facts. Respect your opponents. Protect your dignity. Protect your life.
