The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Niger State Command, says it has seized five bags of cannabis in Maitumbi area of Minna.
The command said the drugs were seized on September 16th, 2026, from the premises of one Isah Sani, who is now wanted for alleged illegal storage and dealing in cannabis.
In a statement, the State Commander, Alhaji Shehu N. Gwadabawa, said three other arrests were also made during the period under review.
They include Attah Shamaki, who was arrested in Rijau with 150 grams of cannabis, as well as Nura Ibrahim Bako and Abbas Mustapha, who were arrested along the Suleja-Tafa road with one kilogram of cannabis.
Another suspect, Yusuf Salisu, also known as Tupac, was arrested in Beji Bosso Local Government Area with one bag of cannabis.
The NDLEA said all the suspects are in custody and are being investigated, after which they will be charged before the Federal High Court in Minna.
The command called on residents to provide useful information about illegal drug activities in their communities.
