Abdulrahman Haske Joins APM, Emerges Party’s 2027 Governorship Candidate in Adamawa

Former governorship aspirant, Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, has officially joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and accepted the party’s flag as its governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Adamawa State.

Haske made the announcement yesterday in Yola during a colourful political gathering attended by party leaders, stakeholders, traditional and community leaders, as well as youth, women and supporters drawn from the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.

Speaking after his formal acceptance, Haske expressed appreciation to the leadership of the APM and supporters who gathered to witness what he described as a defining moment in his political journey.

He said his movement to the APM goes beyond a mere political transition, describing it as the beginning of a renewed journey anchored on principle, purpose, inclusion and service to the people of Adamawa State.

The development marks a new phase in Haske’s political ambition as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
